Signalling systems at Aminyevskoye electric depot of Moscow metro
On January 9, the Head of Moscow Sergei Sobyanin accepted for commissioning the Aminyevskoye electric depot, which was specially built to serve the Big Circle Line (BCL) of Moscow Metro
The cutting-edge MPC-EL computer-based signalling system produced be ELTEZA was put into operation. The system was equipped with digital track circuit control modules and modular power units. Switches with electric drives also installed.
Digital systems will regulate the operation of point switchers and traffic lights, monitor equipment parameters, diagnose and identify pre-failure conditions.
The launch of the electric depot will increase the number of trains on the main section of the line by 25%, and ensure the safety and reliability of transportation.
Previously, the company's equipment was implemented in two other BCL electric depots: Nizhegorodskaya and Zamoskvoretsky, as well as at all stations of the world's longest metro ring. In total, three electric depots will serve about 100 modern trains.
