Mastery of adjustment
On February 4, a practical seminar on the use of tools for adjusting relay equipment was held at the repair and technical site of Signalling Technical Center of the Moscow Infrastructure Directorate of Russian Railways.
Specialists from ELTEZA JSC (a subsidiary of JSC Russian Railways, also part of the GC NPS) conducted a masterclass for electromechanics from the signalling departments of the Moscow region. They demonstrated the correct use of tools for relay equipment and instrument adjusters, as well as optimal adjustment methods in accordance with factory technological processes.
The adjuster’s kit, developed last year by the Kamyshlov Electrical Engineering Plant — a branch of ELTEZA JSC, the largest manufacturer and supplier of relay products — includes the essential tools required for the periodic maintenance of all relay types.
The service life of the relay is approximately 30 years. Timely maintenance ensures reliable operation and preserves the quality characteristics throughout the entire service life of the products. The tools are used for adjusting contact springs, front and back contacts, buffer springs, as well as for bending load limiters and contact strips. The kit from ELTEZA meets all requirements for the proper commissioning of relays.
