GC NPS and Uzbekistan Temir Yullari JSC to partner on localizing railway automation production in Uzbekistan.
The companies signed the relevant memorandum today at the Innoprom Central Asia forum. Aleksey Soshnikov, Deputy General Director of ELTEZA JSC and Sharafiddin Kadyrov, Chief Engineer of Uzbekiston Temir Yollari.
The GC NPS intends to provide technical support and guidance for the localization process, as well as to develop a framework for training specialists from Uzbekistan Temir Yullari at its production facilities.
The list of equipment targeted for potential localization includes computer-based interlocking and centralized traffic control systems, automatic block and axle counting systems, cab signalling, electric drives and LED signals, digital communication equipment, railway crossing safety devices, as well as traffic management systems for high-speed rail.
