ELTEZA continues developing of the Eastern polygon of the railways in Russia
On September 10, the MPC-EL system was put into operation for 3028 km of the Baikal-Amur railway line, and a week before that, Vanino Park (serving the ferry crossing to Sakhalin Island and the Vaninsky Port), where 100 switch control facilities are already under the control of ELTEZA systems.
Since 2020, ELTEZA has been involved in the large-scale modernization of the railway infrastructure of the Eastern Polygon of Russian Railways. The computer-based interlocking MPC-EL has already been implemented at 30 stations of the Far Eastern and East Siberian Railways, and by the end of this year it is planned to put the system into operation at 7 more stations.
All components of the MCP-EL are assembled in Moscow at the Losinoostrovsky Electrotechnical Plant – a branch of ELTEZA JSC, and often ready-made modules with equipment installed in them come to Baikal-Amur railway line, which serve as a workplace for station attendants, which significantly reduces the construction time.
