62 railway stations of the JSC Russian Railways network were equipped with the MPC-EL system in 2023
In total, more than 140 stations in Russia have already been switched to the control of the MPC-EL computer-based signalling systems for switches and color lights manufactured by ELTEZA JSC since 2017, when the implementation of the new domestic system at railway transport facilities began.
The construction works is particularly active at the largest railway construction site in Russia - the Eastern Polygon. The Far Eastern Railway is in the lead, where 31 stations were equipped with the MPC-EL system last year. In total, as part of the modernization of the Baikal-Amur and Trans-Siberian Railways in 2023, the newest microprocessor equipment from JSC ELTEZA appeared at 36 stations.
Another important region for the implementation of MPC-EL is the Moscow transport hub. By the end of the year, 14 stations of the Moscow Railway were equipped with this system, including 13 on the Moscow Central Diameters 2, 3 and 4 lines.
In addition, over the past 12 months, more than 35 km of railway track were equipped with ALSO-EL and ALSO-EL-P automated train protection system, as well as ABTC-EL automatic line-blocking developed and manufactured by ELTEZA JSC.
Computer-based signalling systems for switches and color lights manufactured by ELTEZA JSC is widely used not only on the JSC Russian Railways network, but also in the metro and at industrial transport facilities - wherever automation and digitalization of traffic control processes are critically important for the safety and efficiency of railway operation.
The company's equipment has already been implemented on the Big Circle and Circle Lines of the Moscow Metro, at the facilities of the largest fertilizer producer PhosAgro and other industrial lines.
In 2024, it is planned to maintain the pace of implementation of advanced domestic technologies on the Russian railways.
