Automated centralized traffic control system DC-EL

Scope and field of application

DC-EL is designed for use at railway junctions as well as single and multi-track sections with any type of railway traction:
  • on high-speed railway lines;
  • as a traffic management system for specialized rolling stock;
  • for industrial transport, including high-profile industries;
  • for mass transit, including high-speed lines.
System features

  • The length of the controlled track section is unlimited and can vary depending on the customer’s needs.
  • The number of operated and controlled objects is unlimited.
  • The system can work with any type of blocks, including radio control.
  • The modular nature of the system allows to easily increase the scope of features and the number of dispatch and primary staff LCSS as necessary without incurring significant additional costs.
  • The system also includes transportation planning features, executed train schedule, etc.
  • Logical control algorithms are also implemented.
  • The whole system is based on standard industrial equipment only.

Technical parameters

The DC-EL system is built on the same type of equipment used in other computer-based systems (MPC-EL, RPC-EL, etc.) manufactured by Losinoostrovsky Electrotechnical Plant of ELTEZA JSC.
The DC-EL system has several versions of LP-EL generic field stations, which may be integrated into Cl, Hl, El and other systems.
LP-El is capable of supporting any high-level protocol to ensure mutual integration with an active CTC system.
LP-El built-in to the MPC-EL system is a universal software tool for communication with other existing CTC systems.
LP-EL may be integrated into any computer-based rail traffic management system.
One of the LP-EL versions may be used to manage El systems with the ability to install LCSS instead of remote-control machines. Hybrid interlocking may also be implemented with the use of LP-EL.
Redundancy may be provided for all technical equipment of the DC-EL system, working in hot reserving mode.
