The equipment produced at the ELTEZA’s plants of has been introduced on the new railway line of the Udokan Mining and Metallurgical Combine

The MPC-EL computer-based signalling system, which is fully assembled at the production sites of ELTEZA JSC, will control train traffic on the 11 km length industrial (non-public) railway line and adjacent to the Novaya Chara station on Baikal-Amur Mainline.

The performance of the installed MPC-EL system is calculated taking into account the planned expansion of production at Udokan as part of the second phase of the project.

The Udokan rail base is a unique facility in the area of the Novaya Chara station of the Baikal-Amur Mainline. It provides reliable storage, reception and shipment of produced products, as well as materials and equipment necessary for production.

The Udokan copper deposit is the largest in Russia, with resources of 26.7 million tons. The development of the deposit is conducted by the Udokan Copper company. In September 2023, the company began production of copper concentrate at the Udokan Mining and Metallurgical Combine processing plant.
