Scope and field of application
Derailers fully comply with the technical requirements of TU 32 ELT 072-16. They provide the means to forcefully derail rolling stock wheels. Derailers may be used in temperate climates (U) with location category 1 according to GOST 15150-69.
These devices are meant to prevent unauthorized entry of rolling stock onto station tracks and track sections.
Application:

- On station tracks, apart from running and special lines for moving passenger trains, as well as tracks designated for non-stop train movement.
- At junctions between approach and exchange tracks with receiving, departure and other station tracks.
- For protection of drawbridges.
