Scope and field of application
Designed for continuous operation as part of railway signalling, interlocking and blocking systems with alternating current power supply of 25 and 50 Hz frequency. These transformers have reinforced insulation and sealed windings. A thermal switch is installed on the transformer winding, which is triggered at 145±10°C. Polymer casing elements have a fire class of PV-0 as per GOST 28157. Electric insulation materials
have a thermal stability class of A as per GOST 8865.
Advantages
Casing elements are made using modern polymer materials that ensure the upper and lower caps are tightly sealed, which in turn achieves higher moisture protection of the transformer.
KP-series transformers have the insulation dielectric strength of 4 kW.
