Scope and field of application
This digital module is a subsystem for monitoring and coding track circuits with protection against thunderstorm and switching surges. Information is received and transmitted via a digital and/or relay interface.
These modules are used to traffic control systems on stations, track sections, hump yards and other sections with track arrangements (EI and CI systems), as well as in headway control systems on track sections with FTC using centralized installation of equipment (e.g., ALB, ATP systems).
Advantages
FTC-AR equipment used as part of CM KRC-AR hasincreased interference resistance. It is capable of performing internal self-diagnostics and transmit the results to an external technical diagnostics and monitoring system.
FTC-AR equipment automatically supplies the optimal voltage to the track circuit at the input of the track receiver by safely changing voltage at the output of the track generator. The capacity for flexible redundancy makes it possible to use both FTC equipment with 100% redundancy (e.g., for main tracks) and equipment with no redundancy (e.g., for branch tracks and dead ends).
