Installation of the MPC-EL computer-based interlocking system for switches and signals at the Sokol depot.

The system was commissioned on April 9, 2021. The project has become a major landmark in the history of the Moscow Metro, with MPC-EL becoming the first computer-based system to be implemented there. MPC-EL is equipped with a state-of-the-art comprehensive cybersecurity system which provides a remote monitoring connection to an LCSS* and ensures the protection of the internal network from cyberattacks originating from external data transmission networks.

Commissioning date: April 9, 2021

The MPC-EL architecture for metro systems is designed to provide the highest level of availability due to hot reserving of all its components, including local controllers, data transfer channels and track circuit electronic equipment.

Due to the specifics of the Moscow metro, all electronic modules of the system were provided in a dust-proof version
